Same Old Thing
The last time I flew home in November, I told you that Alitalia was terrible.
This time I flew Northwest. Much better.
Ya, right.
First off, the Rome-Amsterdam connection was late, which means that I had to sprint through the Amsterdam airport (Schipol….my favorite airport) to catch the Amsterdam-Boston flight. I made it…my bags, of course, didn’t.
Allegedly, they will be delivered tonight.
Ya, right. Lost in Space, I fear.
I am worried about the economy though. On my return, Olga told me that business at the store has nose-dived despite the sale we had. Looks like we have our work cut out for us. We will have another a huge sale and see if that helps, plus we have a lot of events planned,so hopefully the drop off is just an after Christmas thing.
I sent all the photos of the condo that I took to Christine, who will post them on the website in a few days.
If you can’t wait, send me an email (alfredzappala@yahoo.com) and I will send you some.
Well, back to the coal mines, I guess. By the way, I return to La Sicilia in May. Yay!
