GREAT PLACE!

Let me tell you about a great place that I found high atop Acicastello, overlooking the Rivera Dei Ciclopi.
It is the President Park Hotel (via Littere 88, Acicastello (CT), Sicily 95021, tel 01130-095-7116111 fax 01139 095-277569). www.presidentparkhotel.com
This place is the most elegant hotel that I have found outside of the Excelsior Hotel in Taormina.
Conveniently located (about 10KM from the airport) , the train station and the autostrada, this 94 room (2 great suites too) gem has all the amenities that you can want while in Sicily. All rooms have private baths, direct dial telephones, mini bar, conditioning, and cable TV.
It has a 4 start rating too. Its 3 restaurants offer excellent food, and its swimming pool is the biggest around.
For those of you who want creature comforts, this is the place.
The director of the hotel is Furio Ragno and he is the most competent hotel man that I have found in Sicily.

I highly recommend dinner or a drink here at the very least!
